This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the Tezzy website (including the web version of the app) and the Tezzy mobile apps for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”). The Service is designed to help users prepare for the Unified National Testing (UNT) and other tests and exams in school subjects.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. Account and profile. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a user identifier. We also store the details you provide in your profile: your name, city, interface and test language and, if you choose to add them, your phone number and Telegram username. If you contact support, we also receive the information you include in your request.
1.2. Usage data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including test progress, completed exercises, scores, interactions with the Service, device type and app version. We use this data to improve the Service and the learning experience.
1.3. Cookies. On the website, we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
1.4. Payments. Paid features of the Service are available by subscription. Purchases in the mobile apps are processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), and payments on the website are processed by banks and payment services. We receive only the information needed to confirm the payment and grant access. We do not collect or store your bank card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- provide and maintain the Service;
- save your learning progress and results;
- enable paid features and manage subscriptions;
- improve content and the user experience;
- respond to support requests;
- send service emails and newsletters (see Section 3);
- ensure security and prevent abuse.
3. Emails and Newsletters
3.1. We may use the email address linked to your account to send you:
- service emails — about your account, payments and subscription status, replies to your requests, and notices of important changes to the Service or this Policy;
- newsletters — Tezzy news and new features, study tips and reminders to help you prepare for the UNT, and special offers, promotions and discounts.
3.2. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by writing to info@tezzy.kz. Unsubscribing does not affect service emails, as they are necessary for the Service to work.
3.3. We do not sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own marketing. Emails may be sent through an email delivery service that processes your address on our behalf and only for this purpose.
4. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information using industry-standard security practices. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers that help us run the Service (such as hosting, sign-in, analytics, email delivery, payment and AI-feature providers), and only to the extent they need it to perform their tasks.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for educational use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, update or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us (see Section 9).
You can also delete your account and the data associated with it yourself — in your profile settings in the Service or on the Account deletion page.
You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time (see Section 3).
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page and takes effect upon publication.
